TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions applies to all purchase agreements that a consumer enters with into with J. Lindeberg AB, Stadsgårdshamnen 24, 11645 Stockholm, Sweden, company registration number 5565337085 (hereinafter J.LINDEBERG), covering all product purchase orders (order) being submitted to the web shop on www.jlindeberg.com (the Website). We encourage you to read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the website or submitting an order. By placing an order on the Website, you agree to accept these Terms and Conditions. As these Terms and Conditions are updated from time to time, we recommend reviewing this page on a regular basis. These Terms and Conditions are available in English, and the site is available to browse in the following languages; English, Swedish, German, Norwegian, Danish and French. Particular terms and conditions may apply for J.LINDEBERG Clubhouse Members which are expressly set out in these Terms and Conditions. Promotional Terms & Conditions

The J.Lindeberg Winter Sale applies to selected Fall/Winter '24 and Sport collections.

*The offer excludes Ski and selected styles.

The offer is available on the online store and in-store. It is not available through other retailers or J.Lindeberg distributors and cannot be combined with other offers, discounts, or promotional codes. 

The J.Lindeberg Pre-Access Winter Sale commences on 12 December, Thursday, 10:30 CET (for Clubhouse members only)

While December 17th was our cutoff for guaranteed holiday delivery, you can still order thoughtful gifts for your loved ones or treat yourself to something special.

40% discount is valid during Winter Sale days. Discounts cannot be applied retrospectively. 

General Terms

 Enjoy free Access Point shipment on purchase orders from:

Due to higher demand, deliveries are subject to delays during the Winter Sale. Please allow for extended delivery times.

Extended returns from 22 Nov to Jan 31/25 - items must be in perfect condition and have not been worn or washed. The item must be returned in its original packaging with all tags remaining. If the item has been damaged, stained, or altered in any way, we reserve the right to refuse the return. 

For purchases made in-store, please return the item to the same store or retailer where the purchase was made.

Once we receive the item and have verified that it is in perfect condition, we will issue a refund to your original form of payment, excluding a return fee of 4.95 EUR / 5.95 CHF / 5.95 GBP / 50 SEK / 50 NOK / 50 DKK, and 19.90 EUR for a return of an order originally shipped to South Korea, will be automatically deducted from your refund. J.Lindeberg cannot fulfill price adjustments for orders placed before Pre-access or Winter Sale. Stock is limited to availability, and some items and sizes may not be available. 

  1. Order

    A binding purchase agreement is entered into when you place an order on the Website, and your order has been confirmed by J.LINDEBERG. J.LINDEBERG will send an order confirmation to you by email when the order has been confirmed and shipped. The order receipt received immediately after placing the order does not constitute an order confirmation.


    To place a purchase order on the Website, you must be at least 18 years of age, not under guardianship, and must use a payment method approved by J.LINDEBERG. You are only allowed to purchase products in the J.LINDEBERG online shop if you are a private consumer, and you are not allowed to place orders for, or on behalf of, a business or company.

    J.LINDEBERG reserves the right to terminate or decline an order, prevent you from shopping and deactivate customer accounts, at its sole discretion, without being liable for any damages or costs, if

    A) your payment information is incorrect or not verifiable, or you are not approved in a credit evaluation,

    B) the order has been made, or is suspected to being made, in fraudulent purposes or in connection with a criminal offense or unlawful activity,

    C) an error or malfunction on the website occurs, including payment error or malfunction, or incorrect price is displayed on the website,

    D) J.LINDEBERG has reasons to believe you are under the age of 18 years old or under guardianship,

    E) the order could not be delivered to your address,

    F) J.LINDEBERG experience a large number of returns,

    G) the ordered product is out of stock, or incorrect stock level is shown on the Website at the time of your order, or

    H) J.LINDEBERG suspects that you, in some way, are in breach of these Terms and Conditions.

     

    1. Payment

    J.LINDEBERG accepts the following payment methods on the Website:

    • Credit- and Debit Card (VISA, Mastercard, AMEX, Maestro, UnionPay).
    This payment method requires a valid credit or debit card. J. LINDEBERG reserves the right to check the validity of the card. The amount will be reserved on your card and will be debited after shipment of the goods.
    • PayPal
    This payment method requires a PayPal account, which you will need to log into in the payment process. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can easily set one up for free on their website. When using this payment method you enter into an agreement with PayPal directly which is subject to PAYPAL USER AGREEMENT and PRIVACY POLICY.
      • Shop Pay
      Use Shop Pay for a fast and secure checkout experience. Shop Pay securely stores your details for a quicker checkout on future purchases. You can also track your orders and manage payments through the Shop Pay app.
        • Google Pay
        Complete your transaction with a tap using Google Pay: Fast & Easy: No need to manually enter your card details - select Google Pay at checkout.
          • iDEAL
          (Netherlands): For Dutch customers, real-time payments are directly connected to your bank.
          • Bancontact
          (Belgium): Secure and convenient payments linked to Belgian local banks.
            • J.LINDEBERG Gift Card
            You can pay for your order fully or partially with your J.LINDEBERG Gift Card. If the balance on your gift card exceeds the order amount, the balance on your gift card will be adjusted accordingly.
              • Klarna Invoice
              This payment service is offered in cooperation with Klarna Bank AB. The payment period is 30 days from shipment of the goods. When choosing this payment method you enter into an agreement with Klarna directly which is subject to Klarna’s TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR KLARNA INVOICE and PRIVACY POLICY. If you cannot accept the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, please choose another payment method.
              • Klarna Account
              This payment service is offered in cooperation with Klarna Bank AB. With the financing service from Klarna you can pay your purchase in flexible or fixed monthly instalments according to the conditions stated in the checkout. The instalment payment is due at the end of each month after submission of a separate monthly invoice by Klarna. When choosing this payment method you enter into an agreement with Klarna directly which is subject to Klarna’s TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND STANDARD EUROPEAN CONSUMER CREDIT INFORMATION as well as PRIVACY POLICY. If you cannot accept the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, please choose another payment method.

                 

                The payment methods Klarna Invoice and Klarna Account are only available in case of a positive credit assessment. For this purpose, during the order process and handling of your purchase, we forward your data for an address and credit check to Klarna. We can only offer you the payment methods available based on the result of the credit check. General information about Klarna and the user terms can be found on KLARNA.COM.

                All payments are subject to validation and authorization by both the card issuer/payment provider and us, to maintain security and prevent fraud. We reserve the right to decline certain payment methods and/or refer to a different payment method depending on the circumstances.

                J.LINDEBERG cannot accept any payment methods other than those specified above. J.LINDEBERG will not be held liable for any loss or damage caused by you by attempting to use another payment method.
                Payment is possible in the currencies set out on the Website and can change depending on which country you choose. Payment is currently made in:

                • Euro (EUR) for shipment within the European Union and for countries not specified below
                • Swedish kronor (SEK) for shipments to Sweden
                • Danish kronor (DKK) for shipments to Denmark
                • British Pounds (GBP) for shipments to the UK
                • Norwegian kronor (NOK) for shipments to Norway
                • Swiss franc (CHF) for shipments to Switzerland
                • South Korean won (KRW) for shipments to South Korea

                 

                  1. Prices, taxes/VAT and currency

                   

                  All quoted prices on products, delivery charges and other services include value added tax (VAT). The applicable price is the one stated in the J.LINDEBERG online shop in respect of the relevant product on the date of placing of the order. Please note that additional duties or taxes may apply to deliveries to some countries outside of the EU. You will be responsible for any such duties or taxes and J.LINDEBERG has no control over such charges. For further information, we suggest contacting your local customs office before placing an order. Taxes and duties incurred on refused deliveries/packages are not reimbursed by J.LINDEBERG.

                  All displayed prices are quoted in the valid currency in your country. Your indicated delivery address will decide which currency applies to your purchase. Changing the country or delivery address to another country may influence the pricing, currency, and delivery costs. s.

                  J.LINDEBERG reserves the right to amend any prices incorrectly stated in the J.LINDEBERG online shop, and cancel orders if any information, including prices, on the Website is inaccurate at any time without notice. Furthermore, J.LINDEBERG reserves the right to amend any prices, taxes and/or other costs stated in the J.LINDEBERG online shop at any time, for example, but not limited to, due to changes in VAT rates, exchange rates, or other public fees and charges, increased costs or as a result of the general development in retail prices.

                  Please note that some banks or card issuers charge an extra overseas transaction fee. This fee is charged by the bank or card issuer and will not be reimbursed by J.LINDEBERG. For more information, please contact your bank or card issuer.

                  When placing a purchase order on the Website, an amount might be added in payment of shipping costs, depending on services and at the rates at the time being as presented at check out.

                   

                  1. Delivery

                   J.LINDEBERG currently deliver orders to the following countries/regions:

                  • Sweden
                  • European Union
                  • Norway
                  • Switzerland
                  • United Kingdom
                  • South Korea

                   

                  We work with trusted logistics partners PostNord, UPS, BudBee, and DHL Freight to provide reliable shipping solutions tailored to your location.

                  Orders delivered by UPS cannot be delivered to hotels. If you are placing an order while abroad and choose to deliver to the country you are visiting, you must select a pickup point for your delivery.

                  Placed orders will be packed and shipped on working days between Mondays and Fridays, and the delivery times vary depending on your country of delivery. J. LINDEBERG will handle your order as soon as possible, and ordered products will usually be ready for shipment within 1-2 working days.

                  Orders placed on working days between Mondays and Fridays before 11:00 CEST/CET will be packed and shipped the same day, except for orders being delivered to Norway.

                  Orders shipped to Norway are consolidated and dispatched on Mondays and Thursdays, except on holidays.

                  Unless you have been informed otherwise, the usual time of delivery from the time of placing the order is:

                  • PostNord Standard Delivery: 2-5 working days
                  • UPS standard delivery: 3-5 working days
                  • UPS (Express Saver Delivery): 1-2 business days
                  • BudBee: Home or Box
                  • DHL Freight: Service point or Home

                   

                  All shipping costs will be specified in the purchase order and are clearly visible to you before completing the order.

                  The estimated delivery times shown at checkout are calculated from when the parcel leaves the warehouse, not when the order is placed.

                  Home delivery is the only delivery option in some territories, namely in the Azores, Canary Island, Equatorial Guinea, Malta, and Melilla. These territories are excluded from free delivery, including for J.LINDEBERG Clubhouse Members.

                  The risk of the order passes on from J.LINDEBERG to you when you receive your order product and the delivery has been completed. This is the case as soon as the ordered product is considered to be in your or a third party´s possession, which generally will take place at the moment you or a third party collects the delivered product. Without prejudice to your statutory rights and remedies, you are responsible for inspecting your ordered product for any defects and giving J.LINDEBERG notice of any such faults, defects, or complaints. If the delivered product is defective or otherwise not in accordance with your order, you may return the product to J.LINDEBERG. You will be refunded the returned product’s purchase price and delivery cost. You may also choose to keep the defective product and request a reduced price.

                  If an order is returned as undeliverable or if the order is not collected from the pickup point , J.LINDEBERG reserves the right to charge you a fee for the costs for shipping and processing. Non-collected orders usually are not covered by your right to return or the right to withdraw.

                  Should your ordered product be delayed, you will receive a notification by email, including a new estimated time for delivery, no later than 30 days after you have submitted your order. You may cancel the order if you do not accept the new time of delivery. If your ordered product has not been delivered within 15 working days after the new estimated delivery time, you may cancel the order by notifying our customer service. If you cancel your order due to such delay, J.LINDEBERG will refund the paid amount of your order. If your order already has been dispatched, you will have to return the ordered products in order to receive repayment. J.LINDEBERG will pay the costs of the return.

                  J.LINDERBERG cannot be held liable for delays in delivery due to events or circumstances that are out of J.LINDEBERG's control and could not have been foreseen or prevented.

                  Damaged parcel

                  In the event that your parcel arrives damaged or you discover any damage to the parcel before opening it, you must immediately report the damage at the pickup point or, if you have chosen home delivery, to the person/company delivering the product. To ensure a smooth process, J.LINDEBERG recommends you to submit a photo of the parcel and order number to the Customer Service Team as soon as possible, and within 24 hours. Products which are damaged during delivery are replaced by J.LINDEBERG, free of charge.

                  If you notice damage after opening the parcel, please follow the guidelines under Defective or Damaged Products, below.

                   

                  1. Right of withdrawal

                  You have a right to withdraw your order and from the purchase agreement entered into, without giving any reasons. You have the right to withdraw from the agreement at any time within 30 days from the date the ordered product was delivered to you, i.e., when you or a third party is considered to be in possession of the ordered product or a purchase has been made in a physical J.LINDEBERG store.


                  If the withdrawal period ends on a public holiday, Sunday, December 24 or 31, the period will be extended to the following working day.

                  Further information regarding your right to withdrawal is available at the Swedish Consumer Agency’s (Konsumentverkets) website.

                  How to withdraw from the contract

                  In order to exercise your right of withdrawal, please send an unambiguous and clear statement clarifying you have a wish to use your right of withdrawal within the withdrawal period by:

                  • Postal mail to Barona, Att: J.Lindeberg Customer Service, Södra Stapelgränd 4, 211 75, Malmö. Please note that this address is not the same as the address for return of products. The address for returning goods is listed below under ”Returns”.

                  In your statement, please indicate your name, address, phone number, email address, order number and the product you wish to return and your wish to exercise your right of withdrawal.
                  You are also free to use the linked withdrawal form provided by the Swedish Consumer Agency (Konsumentverket).

                  In the event products are being returned to us without a statement that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, we will consider the return of the products as a withdrawal from the contract.

                  Returns

                  J.LINDEBERG accept returns within 30 days from the date you receive your product. In order for J.LINDEBERG to accept returns within the prescribed period of time, the returned product must be in perfect condition and not worn nor washed. The ordered product must be returned in its original packaging with all tags remaining. If the item has been damaged, stained, or altered in any way, we reserve the right to refuse the return. Please note that if the returned product has lost its value due to your handling of the product to a greater extent than it is necessary to determine its characteristics or functions, you will be obliged to reimburse us. Returns will be deemed to have been made in due time, if you have handed over the product to postal services, or other services having undertaken to be in charge of the dispatch of the product to J.LINDEBERG, within the prescribed period of time. To retain proof that you have withdrawn from the contract in due time, you should keep the receipt or return tracking number stating that you have handed over the goods to the postal services, etc., for the purpose of dispatch.

                  Products which have been ordered separately must not be returned in the same parcel. In order for a return to be accepted, only products from the same order can be included in the same parcel.

                  Please note that due to hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges of underwear. We kindly suggest that you take a moment to review our size guides or reach out to our customer service team for assistance before placing your order.

                  If you wish to return an item, please visit our return portal to initiate the return process. Once we receive the item and have verified that it is in perfect condition, we will issue a refund to your original form of payment excluding a return fee of 4.95 EUR / 5.95 CHF / 5.95 GBP / 50 SEK / 50 NOK / 50 DKK, and 19.90 EUR for a return of an order originally shipped to South Korea.

                  Products shall be returned to the following address: J.Lindeberg Return, DHL Storage, Företagsgatan 64, 50464 Borås. You can find more information on J.LINDEBERG's 'Returns' page.

                  Repayment

                  If you exercise your right to withdrawal from the purchase agreement, we will repay the purchase price, excluding any delivery costs. Repayment will be made without unnecessary delay and in any event no later than 14 days after the date when we received your request to withdraw from the contract. Refunds will be credited to your original method of payment unless you have explicitly accepted otherwise. In any event you will not be charged with any fees as a result of the repayment. Please note that for the return of an order originally shipped to South Korea, J.LINDEBERG charges a return fee of 19.90 € that will be automatically deducted from the repayment.

                  We may withhold the repayment until we have received the returned products, or until you have submitted documentation that the goods have been returned, as may be appropriate.

                  Used or impaired goods

                  You are only liable for any impairment of the value of the product caused by other handling than what is necessary to determine the nature, quality and function of the goods.

                  Some of our products are sealed with a special tag. This tag does not prevent you from trying on the product, however, if the tag is removed, you might not be able to exercise your full return right.

                  Specially made products

                  Your right to withdraw from the agreement does not apply for ordered products produced according to your specifications or with a clear personal touch.

                  Promotional products

                  Additional promotional products may on certain occasions be included in your order, free of charge, as part of a promotion. If you would like to return your ordered products to J.LINDEBERG, the promotional product must also be returned to J.LINDEBERG, in order for you to receive a refund. Promotional products received as a part of a promotional deal for free, are not eligible for refunds or replacements. However, if the promotional product is faulty or damaged, J.LINDEBERG will repair the promotional product, if possible.

                  Defective or damaged products

                  J.LINDEBERG are committed to provide high quality products, but occasionally issues with products may arise. In case you receive a faulty or damaged product, we encourage you to read and follow the guidelines below, to ensure a smooth process.

                  Report damaged or missing products

                  In case your ordered product is damaged or missing, please contact J.LINDEBERG’s Customer Service Team and provide the following information:

                  • a picture of the entire product/garment
                  • a close-up on the defect
                  • a brief explanation
                  • the order number

                  In order for J.LINDEBERG to process your claim and remedy any defects, you must receive an approval confirmation from the Customer Service Team. Claims cannot be processed without an approval confirmation from the Customer Service Team.

                  Valid claims generally include manufacturing defects, damage caused during shipping, receiving a product other than ordered, or if a product is missing.

                  Defects related to wear and tear, improper care, or misuse of the product will not be accepted for replacement or repair. J.LINDEBERG will not reimburse you for defects or damages caused by you.

                  Claims regarding damaged or defective products which have been approved may result in repair of the damages product, replacement with an equivalent product (if available), partial or full refund, depending on the nature of the issue. J. LINDEBERG strives to ensure that you can continue to enjoy our products and at the same time reduce environmental impact. J. LINDEBERG is therefore prioritizing to repair damaged products, whenever possible. If repair of the damaged product is possible and approved, the Customer Service Team will guide you through the process, including the option for you to visit one of J. LINDERBERG’s physical stores, where professional tailors may assist you with the repair.

                  You may report defects which appears within 36 months after receipt of your order, or the longer time period which is prescribed under your national consumer protection laws. A notice of defect or a complaint shall be made within a reasonable time from the after the defect has been, or should have been, noticed. For Swedish consumers, any notice given within a period of two months after you have noted the defect is deemed a timely notice.

                   

                  1. Complaints

                   

                  In case you disagree with our handling of your complaint, Swedish consumers have the option to contact Allmänna Reklamationsnämnden in order to lodge a complaint.                   For consumers residing within the EU outside of Sweden, it is possible to submit a complaint regarding an online purchase via the European Online Dispute Resolution platform, which you can access HERE.

                   

                  1. Disclaimer of Warranty and Limitation of Liability

                   

                  J.LINDEBERG is not liable for any damages other than damages as a result from breach of contractual obligations towards you, or damages prescribed by applicable law.

                  J.LINDEBERG is not directly nor indirectly responsible for example, but not limited to, incompatibility, delivery delays, downtime, data loss, additional work or other economic harm.

                  J.LINDEBERG is not liable for any damages caused by improper use of any of our products, or damages incurred by any third party.

                  J.LINDEBERG's liability for any and all claims is limited to an amount equal to the price of the product purchased by you.

                  J.LINDEBERG assumes product liability vis-à-vis you under applicable law.

                  J.LINDEBERG is not liable for any delays or for non-performance due to force majeure. For as long as a force majeure situation persists, J.LINDEBERG is relieved from performance of its obligations.

                    J.LINDEBERG AB makes no warranties regarding the accuracy of the information on the website. However, you are always welcome to contact us if you find incorrect information on the website.

                    J.LINDEBERG AB is entitled to change the content of the website at any time without preceding no-tice. In the event of errors on the Website or other website services, or any other incomplete or incorrect texts, prices, images, graphics, video and audio clips.

                    J.LINDEBERG cannot, to the fullest extent permitted by law, not be held liable for damages resulting hereof, unless such damage is the result gross negligence or wilful misconduct. If the website links to a third party website, J.LINDEBERG AB makes no warranties for the content of the third party website. These links are made for your convenience only, but it is at your own risk when you visit a third party website.

                    J.LINDEBERG shall not be liable for any content of internet sites that the Website links to, nor use or content of any other websites linked to the Website.

                    1. J.LINDERBERG’s Right to Update these Terms and Conditions

                    J.LINDEBERG reserve the right to amend or revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Your order will be subject to Terms and Conditions, and other applicable policies, which are in force at the time of your order.

                    We encourage you to read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the website or submitting an order. By placing an order on the Website, you agree to accept these Terms and Conditions. As these Terms and Conditions are updated from time to time, we recommend reviewing this page on a regular basis.

                     

                    1. Privacy Policy

                    J.LINDEBERG processes and collect personal information such as, but not limited to, name, address, phone number, email, IP-address, in order to fulfill its obligations under this agreement. Processing of personal data is made in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Please read about how we process personal data in our PRIVACY POLICY.

                     

                    1. Force Majeure

                    J.LINDEBERG has the right to assert force majeure in the event of war, warlike event, civil war, pan-demic, revolution, government sanction, strike, lockout, blockade, natural disaster or any similar circumstances or events, which relieves J.LINDEBERG from performing its obligations under this agreement. Under such circumstances, J.LINDEBERG will attempt to contact you and resolve all issues within a timely manner.

                     

                    1. Governing Law
